Lambton Estates is the seat of the Earls of Durham and home to Biddick Hall and Lambton Castle. Consisting of 1,200 acres of sporting, woodland and farming enterprises. The estate is also the location of Bowes Business Park offering modern office facilities in a quiet rural setting. There are more than 60 houses situated on Lambton Estates and some occasionally are available for rent.

Lambton Estates has an historical importance with Lambton Castle being built by the 1st Earl of Durham or ‘Radical Jack’. Biddick Hall is Grade l listed and Lambton Castle Grade ll*. It is a prime example of an estate that has evolved with changing times yet retained the significant architectural and aesthetic features of another era.
The estate has traditionally been referred to as Lambton Park.
